Emeka Oguchi, Nigerian entrepreneur from Edo State is the powerhouse behind popular Nigerian ecommonce website pointekonline.com. He founded the company in June 2005.
Mr Oguchi established the e-commerce site to increase the purchasing power of African tech communities and reduce the costs of tech goods – the everyday products like Phones, TVs, Laptops and other gadgets that people, especially Nigerians depend on.
“We believe it’s the time for Africa to embrace E-Commerce and help people purchase items conveniently sitting at home, at the office or any part of the world,” says CEO of Pointek Technologies, Mr. Emeka Oguchi.
Pointekonline.com is keen to continue its expansion into new markets in Africa. With already larger users in Nigeria, by the end of 2030 Pointek aim is to be Africa’s biggest online gadgets purchasing online website.
Pointek operates an extensive chain of retail outlets (including flagship stores in areas like the Ikeja City Mall in Lagos) and partners with global tech brands like Apple and Samsung.
