The president of Tanzania madam Samia Suluhu Hassan has declared strict laws on mannequins to both retail and wholesalers in Tanzania shops. The President has ordered shop owners to stop putting these mannequins on verandas across Tanaznai.
For long fashion shops, artists, tailors, dressmakers, window dressers, fashionists have been using mannequins to attract customers to buy their clothes.
Unfortunately, whenever these shopkeepers undress and sale cloths right from these dummies, they fail to dress them with new cloths thus leaving them undressed or naked. The biggest percentage of these dummies portrays female morphological nature.
In other words, it might have been the overwhelmingly humiliation over the female status.
And thus/therefore, with no apology or reasonable doubt She had to put to an end of such manner of disrespecting their gender.
Samia, therefore issued out a detailed statement over the public press, and the Government officials of Tanzania putting strict laws in a bid to curb the growing inferiorism demolishing female gender.
The officials in Tanzania argue that, dummies, have done much more negatively affected the young generation and the unemployed youths in Dodoma and the nearby trading centers.
Thus, portraying a bad image to the upcoming generation. Samia argues and insists that, boys in classes do not pay much attention to the teacher and the ongoing lesson. They instead reverse the sight of the dummies they might have viewed earlier while coming to school which psychological harm their mindset.
Female or women status must be revamped although even men’s status does, but on the upper hand or the great extent upon the creation, in humanity, women nakedness brings much shyness than the men.
On addition to the youths, mannequins has turned masses of bodied boys having sleepless nights and adopting new bad practices. Some have turned into masturbates, others developing a womanizer culture, rape and the defilement.
This has rapidly increased jailing and high crime rates due to the pornography which is likely been spread by these mannequins
In regard to cultural practices and norms, here in Africa, we expected to be descent, smart and respecting our bodies. It has been through the spread of the western culture that has turned blacks adopt their wearing culture. It should be clearly noted that, whites wearing short miniskirts and short clothes it was as a result of climatic weather change or their atmosphere that forced them wear like that, but not fashion.
She therefore orders both in the interior and on outskirts of the city, whoever been spotted putting the dummies outside the shop either dressed or undressed, shall be dragged into courts of law and charged a penalty of violating government acts. Thus, or if all goes on bad, it can lead to imprisonment.
She added that if a shop-keeper is to still use these dummies as a way of marketing, they must have to install them back into inside there shop-stores so that if a customer comes, he/she is ought to go inside view the type of cloth on the dummies from inside the shop store.
The President thinks at least if Her measures persist and be followed and enforced by the Government, this will install a sense and peace of mind and reduction over violation of women gender and humiliation.
However, various personalities have been seen over different social media platforms saying that this isn’t that had ruined and caused catastrophe to the nation.
Arguments have been raised by different people more so shop keepers saying that this is limiting them from reaching their destined goals.
On the other hand, Mannequins have elevated and maximized profits to the retail shops in a way that they help in manifesting new fashions and textiles. This has advanced people’s standards of living in Tanzania and the rest of fashionists world.
Tailors and designers have been using these dummies as a way of attracting different buyers having admired the manifested fashions over on the mannequins. Unfortunately, the President Samia Suluhu Hassan didn’t recognize the procedure.
“It is not only mannequins that have brought rape, masturbation, and homosexuality, even time before the introduction of these mannequins such evils did existed. The government will yield nothing from this act.” said the angry shop keeper.
